CEO Paul Vandrill presents cheque to worthy Sheffield cause
Money raised from our October stair challenge
Hallam Medical’s CEO Paul Vandrill had the privilege of presenting a cheque for £428.10 to The Children’s Hospital Charity, Sheffield following last month’s Hallam Medical stair challenge.
As part of our Healthy Hallam initiative we encouraged everybody to take to the stairs rather than the lift and together we climbed a grand total of 3,748 flights of steps.
Every step really did count and whether we climbed one flight or went right up to the roof, every floor completed went to a worthy cause!
The cheque was presented to the Children’s Hospital Charity, which provides over and above the standard NHS provision, enhancing Sheffield Children’s Hospital and matching the world-class equipment with existing world-class expertise.
Sheffield Children’s’ Hospital is one of only four specialist children’s hospitals in the UK whose aim is to improve the hospital environment to benefit patients, families and visitors.
We are proud to continue to support this amazing charity and the important work that they do.
