Hallam Medical has a fantastic opportunity for Health Care Assistants (HCA) in Hull. The role is flexible across services and is Inside of IR35.

In this role you will assist and support the registered nurse, under supervision, with the delivery of direct patient care, with the needs of the patient at the centre of care delivery.

This role  requires working flexibly across any of the client’s services and your responsibilities will be as below:

• To have direct patient contact when delivering care/procedures according to patient care plans. Procedures may include, testing urine samples, chaperoning, blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose testing, pulse-oximetry, phlebotomy and gathering baseline observations according to clinical competencies.
• To be responsible for ensuring all samples/specimens are recorded/labelled correctly and transported in a timely and appropriate manner according to service policies and report discrepancies to senior members of staff.
