National Day of Reflection

Tuesday 23 March 2021

As a nation we are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel and to mark a year since the first lockdown the cancer charity, Marie Curie are promoting a National Day of Reflection on Tuesday 23 March 2021.

This day is being recognised to enable us to reflect on those who have sadly passed away during the coronavirus pandemic and to show support to those families, friends and loved ones who are going through bereavement.

Supporting National Day of Reflection

A minute’s silence will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday 23rd March. Cancer Charity Marie Curie is promoting this National Day of Reflection so as a nation we can come together and remember loved ones that are no longer with us.

At 8pm a minute’s silence will also take place and people will come together to shine a light (candle or torch) outside or through their window to show their support.

You can find out more about National Day of Reflection by visiting the Marie Curie website here.
