Practice Nurse (PN)

We have shifts available in Leicester, Rutland, and Heron.
In the role you will be required to assess and manage long term conditions, carry out programs of health screening and provide contraceptive advice to patients at the GP Surgery.
The service operates 5 days a week and is suitable for Practice Nurses who have previous experience working within a GP Practice environment.
This opportunity offers you locum work outside of IR35 and Monday to Friday shift patterns (08:00 – 18:30)
To apply for this role you must:
- Monitor, interpret and evaluate patient test results
- Make appropriate referrals to primary, community and secondary health care
- Initiate appropriate investigations for patients suspected to have chronic disease
- Initiate and carry out programs of health screening
- Administer child and adult immunisations and vaccinations
