Clinical Nurse Specialist (Band 6 or 7)
Posted 24 October 2024 by Reece LandHallam Medical has an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Band 6 or 7) to support a healthcare service in Slough, Berkshire.
In this role you will be supporting the Sexual Health department reporting directly into the Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
As a Band 6 or 7 Registered Clinical Nurse (LARC Fitter) you will be expected to supervise and mentor junior staff and nursing students, and to take an active role in the leadership and management of the nursing team.
You will be responsible for providing a high standard of sexual reproductive healthcare to patients accessing the sexual health service. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team offering holistic, non-judgemental sexual health care demonstrating professional and ethical responsibilities.
The shifts available are Mon – Fri 08:30-16:30pm (negotiable)
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of reproductive health (mandatory),
- Sexual Health qualification in SRH or Equivalent eg; DFSRH (Mandatory)
- Trained in fitting and removing Intrauterine Device and Implants (Mandatory)
- Sexual Health qualification in GUM & HIV (desirable)
