General Practice Nurse (GPN)

We are keen to speak with General Practice Nurses who are passionate about making a real difference to people’s health and wellbeing within the community.
As a GPN you will confidently deliver a wide range of treatment room services and chronic disease management in a primary care environment.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- obtaining blood samples
- conducting electrocardiograms (ECGs)
- minor and complex wound management including leg ulcers
- travel health advice and vaccinations
- child immunisations and advice
- family planning and women’s health including cervical smears
- men’s health screening
- sexual health services
- smoking cessation
Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Experience in a GP surgery or primary care setting
- Competent in all Practice Nurse duties
