General Practitioner (GP)
Posted 12 January 2026 by LiamHallam Medical has opportunities for General Practitioners (GP) to support a Front Door Streaming service within a busy Emergency Department in Essex.
In this role, you will act as the first clinical point of contact, providing rapid assessment and streaming of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Following initial registration with reception, you will assess patients and determine the most appropriate pathway for their care, helping to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rapid clinical assessments at the front door
- Stream patients to the most appropriate service or care pathway
- Support patient flow within a high-demand Emergency Department
Requirements:
- GMC registered
- On the National Performers List for GPs
- Experience within Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Community settings
- Streaming and/or triage experience
