Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)
Posted 16 February 2026 by NafeesaHallam Medical has opportunities for Advanced Clinical Practitioners to support Urgent Treatment Centres in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
We are looking to speak with experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioners who are competent in assessing and treating minor injuries and illnesses in an Urgent Care setting, and who are confident working independently within the UTC.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clinically assess, investigate, and diagnose patients presenting with acute or primary care conditions
- Manage day-to-day patient care, covering the full range of urgent medical conditions
- Making autonomous, day-to-day clinical judgments by analyzing, interpreting, and selecting the best care options for patients.
- Able to prescribe medication autonomously based on clinical findings
Requirements:
- NMC / HCPC Registered
- Independent Prescriber
- Minor Illness and Injury Qualification (Level 7+)
- Level 7 Assessment Skills
- Urgent Care Experience
- Hold full MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
This opportunity offers:
- The hours: Can choose from 10:00 till 22:30
