Advanced Practitioner (ANP/ACP)
Posted 13 January 2026 by LiamHallam Medical is looking for Advanced Practitioners (ANP/ACP) to support Minor Injuries Units (MIUs) across Bristol and the surrounding areas.
This role offers the opportunity to work within well-established MIU settings, delivering high-quality care to patients presenting with minor injuries and minor illnesses in a fast-paced but supportive environment.
Role Overview
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses
- Manage conditions such as soft tissue injuries, fractures, wounds, burns, and infections
- Request and interpret investigations, including X-rays
- Work autonomously while collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team
- Ensure safe, effective patient flow within the MIU
Requirements:
- NMC or HCPC Registered
- Minor Illness Qualification
- X-Ray interpretation
- Qualified Independent Prescriber
- Experience working in MIU / Minor Injuries / Urgent Care
- Confident managing patients across the lifespan
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
