General Practice Nurse (GPN)
Posted 18 February 2026 by RhianeAt Hallam Medical, we are looking for an experienced and motivated General Practice Nurse (GPN) to join a GP Practice in Beverley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has a strong interest in chronic disease management and preventative healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within a general practice setting
- Run and support clinics for diabetes management and respiratory conditions including COPD and Asthma
- Undertake cervical cytology (smears)
- Provide childhood and adult vaccinations and immunisations
- Support health promotion and disease prevention activities
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider clinical team
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with practice policy
You will need:
- NMC Registered
- Experience working in a General Practice or Primary Care setting
- Experience with Respiratory Management and Diabetes
- Updated Cytology Pin
- Up to date with vaccinations and immunisations training
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Patient-focused and able to work independently
