General Practitioner (GP)
Posted 02 March 2026 by LiamHallam Medical is looking for experienced General Practitioners (GP) to help support an Integrated Urgent Care Service (IUCS) which operates Out-Of-Hours (OOH) with Home Visiting/CAS.
As a GP within the IUC team, you will play a key role in delivering timely, effective urgent primary care.
You will:
- Manage patients with undifferentiated urgent presentations via face-to-face, telephone, and digital consultations
- Provide clinical leadership and advice to a broad clinical team, including ANPs and other urgent care clinicians
- Work both on base and on home visits; a dedicated driver will be provided for all visiting duties
- Work collaboratively across NHS 111, urgent treatment centres, and wider system partners
- Contribute to high-quality clinical documentation, governance, and safe service delivery
You Will Need:
- GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Included on the NHS Performers List
- Already PACCS trained (mandatory)
- Demonstrable urgent care experience, ideally within an IUC, OOH, UTC, or similar environment
- Confident in assessing and managing a broad range of acute presentations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
