General Practitioner (GP)
Posted 29 May 2026 by RhianeHallam Medical have an exciting opportunity for experienced and dedicated General Practitioners to join the Urgent Treatment Centre in Frimley, Surrey.
This is a great opportunity for GPs who enjoy working in a fast-paced urgent care environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient-centred care. The successful clinicians will work as part of an established multidisciplinary team managing a wide range of minor illness and injury presentations.
As a GP within the UTC, you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and safe discharge or onward referral of patients presenting with a variety of urgent care needs. You will work alongside experienced nurses, emergency practitioners, and wider hospital teams in a supportive and collaborative clinical setting.
This role is ideal for clinicians who are confident in autonomous decision-making, thrive in urgent care environments, and are committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients presenting with minor illness and injury
- Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based clinical care
- Request and interpret appropriate investigations where required
- Identify patients requiring escalation or referral to secondary care services
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary UTC team
- Support patient flow and service efficiency within the department
You Will Need:
- Hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Be included on the National Performers List
- Have previous experience within Urgent Treatment Centres, GP Out of Hours, Walk-In Centres, Emergency Departments, or urgent care settings
- Possess excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
- Be confident managing undifferentiated presentations independently
