Hallam Medical is proud to sponsor the Association of Advanced Practice Educators (AAPE) UK Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting, taking place virtually on Friday 4 December 2026.

This year’s conference theme is: “From Policy to Practice: The Role of Education in Transforming the Advanced Practice Workforce.”

Speakers are yet to be announced, but AAPE UK has confirmed that the programme will include the following topics:

• Translating policy into practice
• Developing digitally enabled advanced practice for the future
• Hospital to community: implications for advanced practice education
• Educating Advanced Practitioners for prevention-focused healthcare
• Digital innovation in the education curriculum

As always, the Association of Advanced Practice Educators (AAPE) UK will host a poster session during the registration, coffee and lunch breaks throughout the conference. Delegates are invited to submit an abstract for consideration.

Lisa Locker, Director of Clinical Governance & Quality at Hallam Medical, will announce the winners of the poster competition, with Hallam Medical once again providing the prizes.

AAPE UK welcomes abstracts for posters that reflect aspects of advancing practice, particularly work completed as part of an Advanced Practice MSc. If you are involved in a project or initiative linked to the conference theme, this is an excellent opportunity to present your findings, showcase your work, share your experiences, discuss outcomes and gain valuable feedback from colleagues.

Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of experts. Authors will be notified if their abstract has been successful and will receive further information on preparing a poster for the event.
