Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Autism Specialisation
Posted 02 October 2026 by UrsulaHallam Medical has opportunities for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) with Autism Specialisation to support a client in Oxford.
We are looking for skilled and experienced RMNs with CAMHS inpatient experience to join a PVMA/PEACE team, supporting the management of aggression and complex behaviours.
The role focuses on providing specialist support to promote safety, stability, and the successful reintegration of the patient into their home environment
The requirement for the job will include but are not limited to:
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and an emotional robustness
- Knowledge of mental illness and its treatments relating to young people
- Engaging with Care Coordinators in relation to the patient
- Coordinating on and Implementing care plans
Client Essential Requirements:
- Experience in mental health care or the care of young people
- Registered RMN/RNLD or RSCN
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism and complex needs
- Excellent communication skills
