As you are probably aware the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) have agreed to regulate advanced level practice for nurses in the UK. The detail about how the process will work is yet to be finalised and we are seeking your assistance to provide evidence about advanced practice in community settings.

The Queen’s Nursing Institute are working with academics from Northumbria University and the Universities of G. d’Annunzio Chiete and Bari ‘Aldo Moro’ in Italy to develop a validate a new scale. We then plan to use this to assess the degree of fit with community roles and advanced practice both in the UK and in Italy.

If you are working in a role as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP), or Nurse Practitioner we would ask you to spend 5-10 minutes completing a short survey.
