Giving Something Back This Christmas

At Hallam Medical, Christmas isn’t just about festive celebrations and spending time with loved ones; it’s also a time to reflect on how we can support those who need it most.

Every year, our team at Hallam HQ comes together to give back to the community by donating food, money, and clothes to charities that make a difference.

This year, we’ve chosen two incredible Sheffield-based charities to support:

Sheffield Children’s Hospital: Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is one of only three dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services.

The Cathedral Archer Project: The Cathedral Archer Project support homeless and vulnerable people in achieving a better life for themselves all year round, not just at Christmas. This charity has been in place for over thirty years and has supported thousands of homeless people in Sheffield.

Our amazing team has gone above and beyond to support these charities:

  • We donated brand-new toys to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The toys were delivered on Thursday, 19th December, spreading joy and comfort to young patients and their families.
  • We collected and delivered food and clothes to the Cathedral Archer Project on Friday, 20th December. These essential items will help individuals navigating homelessness during the cold winter months.

At Hallam Medical, we are incredibly fortunate to enjoy the comforts of home, the warmth of family, and the joy of exchanging gifts during the festive period. By supporting these two outstanding charities, we hope to make a small difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate and to brighten the Christmas season for children in hospital.
