Experience Required
Before applying, it’s important to note that Hallam Medical requires all clinicians to have at least six months of experience in the UK healthcare sector.
We recruit for a range of clinical roles, including but not limited to:
- Advanced Nurse Practitioners
- Advanced Clinical Practitioners
- Emergency Nurse Practitioners
- Emergency Care Practitioners
- Registered General Nurses
- Registered Mental Health Nurses
- 111 Clinical Advisors
- Community Nurses (Band 5 – Band 8)
- District Nurses
- Health Visitors
- Paramedics
- Phlebotomists/Health Care Assistants
Your Curriculum Vitae (CV)
To match you with the perfect role, we’ll need an up-to-date CV that includes your full employment history. If you have any gaps of three or more months, please provide an explanation.

References
We require two written UK references to verify your employment dates and demonstrate your clinical expertise. These should:
- Be provided by a senior staff member or HR representative.
- Be professional and healthcare related.
- Be sent from an NHS or work email address.
References can sometimes take a while to process, so submitting them promptly is encouraged.
Documents You’ll Need
Having the following documents ready will make the registration process much quicker:
- Employment History
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Proof of National Insurance Number
- Passport
- Right to Work in the UK/Visa
- NMC Proof (Certificate/Pin Number, if qualified)
- Qualification Certificates (if applicable, e.g., NVQ Level 2)
- Copies of Previous Training Certificates
- Driving Licence
- Passport Photograph
- Up-to-date CV
- Evidence of Indemnity Insurance
- Occupational Health Clearance
- Evidence of Immunisations
- References: 2 dated within the last 3 months
Mandatory Training Documents
We also require mandatory training documents, including but not limited to:
- Basic Life Support (BLS – Practical)
- Information Governance
- Infection Prevention
- Preventing Radicalisation
- SOCA
- SOVA
