Important Update: Covid-19 Vaccination News

At Hallam Medical we want to keep you informed and ensure that we keep you safe both at work and at home.

The regulations which have now been passed through parliament around the Covid-19 vaccination mandate for individuals undertaking CQC regulated activities in England, this includes healthcare agency staff. The regulations apply equally across the public (NHS) and independent health sector.

What does this mean for you?

Going forward you will now need to declare your vaccination status and if you have been vaccinated you will need to provide evidence of this.

We can accept the following forms of vaccination evidence:

  • The NHS COVID pass, or equivalent from NHS Scotland, NHS Wales or the Department of Health in Northern Ireland; or
  • The EU Digital COVID Certificate; or
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention vaccination card; or
  • A certificate in English, French or Spanish issued by the competent health authority which contains:
    a) the individuals full name
    b) the individuals date of birth
    c) the name and manufacturer of the vaccine that the individual received
    d) the date that the individual received each dose of the vaccine
    e) details of either the identity of the issuer of the certificate or the country of
    vaccination, or both
What to do if…
  • You have not been vaccinated and wish to receive a vaccine

If you are concerned about not being able to evidence vaccination by 3rd February 2022 – it is not too late to get your jabs in time. There is a recommended 8 week gap between 1st and 2nd doses, so if you haven’t had your first jab – please arrange to get it as soon as possible.

  • You do not wish to receive the vaccine

If you decide not to receive the Covid Vaccine, whether this is due to personal choice or medical exemptions and wish to know how this will effect you, please talk to your Hallam Medical consultant on 0333 800 0395 as soon as possible.
