This is an exciting oppurutnirty for a Band 5 Registered General Nurse to develop specialist skills within the MIU in Gloucestershire.
As a RGN, your role will include:
- Triaging and assessing the patients attending the MIU
- Supporting the emergency practitioners
- Performing wound management and suturing
- Ensure regular checks are carried out and keeping patients safe while they are assessed and treated by the emergency practitioners.
Requirements:
- Manchester Triage Training
- Wound Care
- Managing Observations
- Able to Administer Pain Relief
- Experience working within: MIIU, ED’s or Primary Care
The Client Requirements:
- NMC Registered
- Evidence of medicines management/ use of PGD’s
- Evidence of ongoing Professional development/ CPD
- Resus Training up-to date
