Community Nurse

This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate Registered Nurses with community nursing experience to deliver high-quality care to patients in their own homes across the Bromley area.
As a Community Nurse, you will manage a caseload of patients in their own homes.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Contributing to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care
- Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining high standards of care
- Reassessing and evaluating programmes of care as required
- Working as an active member of the team, sharing best practice wherever possible
Skills Required:
- Catheterisation – Female, Male and Suprapubic
- Insulin administration
- Enoxaparin administration
- IM & SC injections
- Removal of sutures/clips
- Bowel care, including administration of suppositories, enemas, and DRE
- Compression bandaging, including K-Two and Actico
- Pressure ulcer and wound care
- PICC line management
- Enteral care, including medication administration, flushing, and feeding
- All aspects of McKinley syringe driver care
- IV therapy, including infusion and bolus
- Ability to administer and transcribe medication
Client Requirements:
- NMC Registered
- 6 months Community Nursing experience
- UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
This opportunity offers:
- The hours: 08:15 till 16:15 or 10:45 till 18:45
- Mileage can be claimed for
