Posted 23 October 2026 by UrsulaHallam Medical has locum opportunities for Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) to work Out of Hours shifts, supporting an Acute Visiting Service in Burnley.
We’d love to hear from ENPs with experience working in an Out of Hours Acute Visiting Service.
In this role, you’ll assess and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated illness, complex needs, and a range of acute and chronic conditions.
This is a great opportunity to utilise your advanced assessment and clinical reasoning skills to diagnose and prescribe, delivering high-quality patient care in an autonomous setting.
Role Overview
- Provide consultations within the Acute Visiting Service
- Make differential diagnosis using decision and problem solving skills
- Take responsibility for patients health assessment and physical examination (diagnosis of their condition and its management)
The service operates during evenings and weekends.
Client Requirements
- NMC Registration
- Full Master Degree
- See all ages – Desirable
- Prescribing
- Experience supporting an Acute Visiting Service
