General Practice Nurse
Posted 08 July 2026 by LucieHallam Medical has locum opportunities for General Practice Nurses to support a healthcare provider in Hailsham, East Sussex.
In this role you will be working within the Integrative Health Centre in Hailsham, providing safe, evidence-based nursing care for acute, routine, and preventative patient needs.
You will be required to:
- manage and review long-term conditions (e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension)
- deliver NHS Health Checks, cervical screening, and general health promotion.
- administer adult and childhood immunisations in line with national guidelines
- Provide travel health advice and deliver travel vaccinations
- Carry out wound care, including assessment, dressing, and ongoing management
- Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, ECGs, spirometry, and blood pressure monitoring
To Apply
- Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
- Previous Primary Care experience.
- Experience working as a Practice Nurse within a GP practice.
- Excellent clinical and patient care skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
This role offers shifts Monday – Friday: 08:00-16:30 / 09:00-17:30
