Urgent Care Practitioner (UCP)
Posted 16 July 2026 by UrsulaHallam Medical has a great opportunity for Urgent Care Practitioners (UCP) to support an Out of Hours service based in Liverpool.
This role involves supporting the Out of Hours team by providing telephone consultations, assessing patients during face-to-face appointments on site, and carrying out home visits in a medical response vehicle, accompanied by one of our client’s drivers.
Out of Hours cover is required Monday to Friday from 18:30 to 08:00. Weekend shifts are available 24/7.
This role is outside of IR35 and block bookings are available.
Client Requirements:
- Full current HCPC Registration
- BSC Qualification in Nursing/Post Grad Certificate
- Non-Medical Prescriber – V300
- Clinical Diagnostic Level 7
- Clinical Examination Level 7
- Post registration experience in at least one of the following areas – Primary Care / General Practice
- Willing to undertake face to face consultations
- Ability to conduct remote consultations/assessments
- Experience in EMIS
- MSC Master of Science Degree In Advanced Clinical Practice (not essential as long as have experience in General Practice )
