Raising money for The Children’s Hospital Charity
Sheffield 10K
On Sunday 24th September, Recruitment Consultant Amelia Snape is running the Sheffield 10K in aid of The Children’s Hospital Charity.
This will be the second 10K race Amelia has participated in, with her first 10K also being in Sheffield two years ago.
Amelia said, “I am really excited to take part in the race with the team at Hallam, raising money for such an amazing cause. Wish me luck running in Sheffield, the city full of hills!”
The Sheffield 10K is staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council and is set right in the heart of South Yorkshire’s famous Steel City. The 10K run will start and finish at the Winter Gardens, and runners will pass famous Sheffield landmarks including the Botanical Gardens and the Crucible.
The Children’s Hospital Charity changes children’s lives every day by pioneering groundbreaking medical treatment in a comfortable and engaging environment at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. All the money raised helps create a healthier future for children and young people, funding projects that are over and above the standard NHS provision.
Good luck Amelia, from everyone at Hallam HQ.
Amelia is not the only member of the Hallam Medical team running the Sheffield 10k on Sunday 24th September – good luck to Warren Tomlinson, Alex Munro, Francesca Boulter and Charlie Sykes.
