Hallam Medical Sponsors New QICN Senior and Executive Nurse Network
Hallam Medical is delighted to sponsor the Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing (QICN) new Senior and Executive Nurse Network (SENN), having previously sponsored both the ICB Chief Nurse Network and the Community Nurse Executive Network.
Building on the strengths of the ICB Chief Nurse Network and Community Nurse Executive Network, members are being brought together to form the new Senior and Executive Nurse Network (SENN).
The new QICN SENN network has been launched for senior and executive nurses with responsibility for community nursing services and is designed to provide opportunities to share and learn about issues relating to workforce, education, policy, and service planning. The network is chaired by QICN Fellow Helen Mehra, with Gabbie Parham serving as Vice-Chair.
Lisa Locker, Director of Clinical Governance and Quality at Hallam Medical, said:
“At Hallam Medical, we are proud to work in partnership with The Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing. We are delighted to continue our sponsorship and support of the QICN SENN Network, having previously supported the QICN CNEN and ICB Networks. This network enables community nurse leaders across health and social care to share strategic knowledge and experience, contributing to meaningful improvements and positive outcomes across the wider healthcare system.”
SENN will act as a resource centre where ideas and learning can be shared, and interaction with colleagues facilitated, to enhance best practice and improve nursing care in the community. The network will also hear from high-profile speakers on the latest developments and trends affecting the sector, as well as approaches to managing future challenges.
SENN is a free network open to chief nurses, directors, deputy directors of nursing, and equivalent roles — including interim posts — within provider organisations working in community healthcare. For more details, please visit the QICN website.
