Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner (ANP/ACP)
Posted 31 December 2025 by Ursula ColemanHallam Medical has opportunities for Advanced Practitioners (ANP/ACP) to support a Minor Injury Unit in Uckfield.
We are looking for highly skilled ANPs / ACPs with proven experience in MIU or A&E settings, who can confidently and independently assess, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor injuries or illnesses.
Typical presentations include:
- Acute limb injuries (fractures, wounds, sprains, and strains – excluding potential hip or thigh fractures)
- Traumatic wounds
- Foreign bodies (eyes, ears, nose)
- Rib injuries
- Minor back injuries (excluding chronic conditions or major trauma)
- Insect and animal bites/stings
- Burns and scalds
- Splinter removal
- Wound suturing (excluding eyes, nose, and lips)
Requirements:
- NMC or HCPC registration
- Competent in X-ray interpretation
- Previous MIU or A&E experience
- Minor Injuries and Minor Illness qualifications
- Triage and Assessment
