Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
Posted 10 March 2026 by CharlyHallam Medical has opportunities for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to support GP Out of Hours and Home Visiting Services across Staffordshire.
We are looking for Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioners to provide timely and effective assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages, including paediatrics from birth, presenting with minor illness and minor injury conditions.
Working within the GP Out of Hours service, you will deliver urgent primary care to patients when GP practices are closed, including evenings and weekends, managing a range of acute presentations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
You will also visit patients as part of the home visiting team, making confident and autonomous clinical decisions, including prescribing and referrals where appropriate, to ensure patients receive the care they need in their own homes.
We have shifts available during weekday evenings and weekends.
Skills / Requirements
- MSc in Advanced Practice
- Level 7 Minor Illness and Minor Injury
- Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300)
- Experience managing paediatric patients from birth
- NMC Registration
- Experience working within Primary Care and Urgent Care settings
