General Practitioner (GP)
Posted 10 March 2026 by LiamHallam Medical has opportunities for General Practitioners to support GP Out of Hours and Home Visiting Services across Staffordshire.
We are looking for experienced GPs to provide timely and effective assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages presenting with a range of urgent primary care conditions.
Working within the GP Out of Hours service, you will deliver urgent primary care to patients when GP practices are closed, including evenings and weekends, managing a variety of acute presentations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
You will also visit patients as part of the home visiting team, making confident and autonomous clinical decisions, including prescribing, treatment planning, and referrals where appropriate, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in their own homes.
We have shifts available during weekday evenings and weekends.
Skills / Requirements
- Full GMC Registration
- Inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List
- Experience working within Primary Care, Urgent Care, or GP Out of Hours services
- Confident managing patients of all ages in urgent primary care settings
