Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP)
Posted 01 December 2025 by UrsulaHallam Medical have an exciting opportunity for dual-skilled Prescribing Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENP) to support Urgent Treatment Centres across Somerset.
The sites located across Somerset are: Frome, Shepton Mallet, Burnham-On-Sea, Bridgwater, Chard, and Minehead.
We are looking to speak with ENP Prescribers who have previous experience working within a UTC/MIU environment.
You must be competent with the initial assessment, examination, investigation, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with acute injury and illness (undiagnosed /undifferentiated presentations) across the entire age spectrum.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Hold a NMC registration
- Minor Injury and Minor Illness qualification
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Experience of working autonomously diagnosing and treating patients
- Non-medical prescribing (NMP)
- In possession of up-to-date IRMER certification
- Demonstrate evidence of competence in radiographic interpretation (red dot)
- Demonstrate evidence of up-to-date PILS/ILS (minimum) ideally but not essential ALS/EPL
