General Practitioner (GP) – Urgent Care
Posted 21 August 2026 by UrsulaHallam Medical has locum opportunities for a General Practitioner (GP) to support an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) in Crawley.
We are looking for GPs with experience working within Minor Injury Units (MIUs) and/or Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs).
In this role, you will assess and manage urgent cases, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centred care.
The UTC manages a wide range of urgent, non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses and is supported by advanced facilities, including X-ray, ECG, and dedicated consultation rooms.
Client Requirments
- Qualified doctor with GMC registration and Licence to Practice
- Registered on the GMC GP Register and Performer List
- Membership of Royal College of General Practitioners – MRCGP
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Broad experience in management of patients in urgent care settings and primary care.
- Experience of working in a multi-professional team and taking full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.
- Experience of quality improvement activity and service development.
- Evidence of commitment to teaching and training in a multi-disciplinary setting.
