Registered General Nurse (Band 6) – Care Homes
Posted 01 July 2026 by UrsulaHallam Medical has locum opportunities for Registered General Nurses (Band 6) to support Care Homes across Liverpool.
We are keen to speak with compassionate and experienced nurses who have a background in care home, community, or intermediate care settings.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred clinical care to residents, including assessing and monitoring their health, managing ongoing and complex care needs, administering medication, recognising and escalating any deterioration, and working closely with care home staff and wider healthcare professionals.
You will also provide clinical support and guidance to care teams, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and effective care.
Shift Patterns
- Shifts are available Monday to Sunday
- Options for day (08:00–20:00) and night (20:00–08:00) shifts
- Block bookings are also available
Skills / Requirements:
- Full current NMC Registration with no restrictions
- BSC Qualification in Nursing/Post Grad Certificate
- Post registration experience in at least one of the following areas, relating to the service applying for: Secondary Care, Community experience or Intermediate/Community Care Beds (Care Homes)
