Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
Posted 13 March 2026 by NafeesaHallam Medical is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to support patients by delivering high-quality care and assisting with their daily needs within a healthcare service in Nottingham.
Role Overview:
- Support the clinical team in delivering care programmes to patients.
- Assist patients with activities to help them stay independent at home.
- Provide essential personal care including meal prep, to support patients’ health and wellbeing.
- Observe patients and report any concerns to the clinical team.
- Work as part of a healthcare team and receive regular supervision.
Requirements:
- Rehab experience is a plus but not essential.
- Confident in personal care and meal preparation.
- Works well in a team and builds strong relationships.
- Excellent communicator, adapting style to meet patients’ needs.
- Competent user of a range of IT software packages and ability to learn new systems.
- Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Flexible to work 7 days a week with shifts from 7am–3pm and 2pm–10pm
- Available to start as soon as possible
