The Association of Advanced Practice Educators UK (AAPE UK) have announced they are accepting abstracts as part of their annual conference. This is a fantastic opportunity for Advanced Practitioners to showcase their amazing work.

The Association of Advanced Practice Educators UK annual conference ‘Leading together for sustainability in advanced practice education’ will be taking place virtually on the 21st June.

AAPE UK are now welcoming abstracts of posters that reflect aspects of sustainable leadership in advanced practice education. If you are involved in a project or initiative around the theme of the conference, this is your opportunity to present your findings, showcase your work, share your experiences, discuss the outcomes, and get valuable feedback from colleagues.

The poster submissions will be judged by the attendees at the conference and the best poster will be awarded a prize on the day. As partners and sponsors of AAPE UK, Hallam Medical are proud to announce Chief Nurse Lisa Locker will be presenting the winner at the end of the conference.

Abstract submission deadline is Monday 20th May 2024 and authors will be notified by Monday 27th May 2024 if AAPE UK has accepted their abstract.

What is an abstract?

The abstract is a short description of your work and should contain an introduction, aims and objectives, details of the initiative or project, role, results and outcomes, conclusions and impact of the work.

How will the abstracts be reviewed?

Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of experts. Authors will be notified if their abstract has been successful and given further information on preparing a poster for the event. This year AAPE are asking that posters are narrated. You will be sent a guide on how to do this if your poster is accepted.
