Hallam Medical participated in the two-day UHUK Annual Conference as VIP Sponsors which was held on November 5th and 6th in Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire.

Bringing together over 150 social enterprise healthcare professionals from across the UK, the event fostered dynamic discussions, networking, and exploration into advancing urgent healthcare.

The two-day conference provided a platform for attendees to dive into how social enterprise models are reshaping healthcare delivery, especially in remote, virtual, and integrated settings. Throughout both days, Hallam Medical welcomed attendees to network with our team to explore how we support urgent care providers across the UK. Our team were on hand to share insights, showcase innovative workforce solutions, and discuss how Hallam Medical’s unique approach makes a difference to client services nationwide.

A major highlight was our Chief Nurse, Lisa Locker, who participated in the Workforce Speaker Panel. Lisa’s wealth of experience was evident as she discussed critical issues in healthcare staffing, providing actionable insights on overcoming workforce challenges in today’s evolving healthcare landscape. Her contributions sparked discussions on strategies that can drive sustainable improvements in staffing for urgent and integrated care providers.

On Day 2, both our CEO, Deborah McCain, and Chief Nurse, Lisa Locker, took the stage to present a case study on how Hallam Medical Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) are enhancing digital healthcare platforms. Hallam Medical sourced over 100 locum ANP’s to support Doctor Care Anywhere. In the first full week of operation, 81 locum ANPs provided by Hallam Medical consulted on the DCA platform, covering 1,787 hours totalling over 5,360 patient appointments. Doctor Care Anywhere saw an increase of 16% of patients being seen, highlighting the positive impact ANP’s had on their digital health platform.
